This Wing addresses issues related to atrocities against Scheduled Castes and the enforcement of laws like the Protection of Civil Rights Act, the Bonded Labor System (Abolition) Act, and the Minimum Wages Act. It handles complaints and conducts evaluations on these matters.
The nature of complaints entertained includes:
• Non-Registration of FIR
• Caste Abuse
• Beating
• Threatening to Kill
• Attempt to Murder
• Non-Payment of Wages
• Fraud
• Bonded Labour
• Arson
• Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO)
• Heinous Crimes like Rape, Gang-Rape, Murder, Kidnapping

This Wing handles the implementation of service safeguards for Scheduled Castes in Central/State Government services and Public Sector Undertakings. It addresses complaints related to service matters, policies, government orders, and the representation of Scheduled Castes. It also deals with issues like false caste certificates and the inclusion/exclusion of castes in the Scheduled Castes list.
The SSW section addresses complaints related to:
• Service Harassment
• Wrongful Suspension from Service
• Non-Implementation of Reservation Policy
• Discrimination by Initiation of Disciplinary Action and Award of Punishment
• Discrimination by Denial of Appointment

This Wing focuses on the development of Scheduled Castes, monitoring and implementing Central/State Government schemes. Key areas include the Special Component Plan, National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation, education schemes, land reforms, and addressing grievances unrelated to atrocities, untouchability, and service matters.
